This day had been a long time coming.
We have had tickets to see Dude Perfect since 2019, and have held onto them through cancellations and rescheduled dates. The circumstances weren’t perfect- due to the rescheduled date Ben wasn’t able to join us and we had to make a special trip to attend the show. But it was all worth it.
The kids actually saved up their own money to buy VIP tickets so they could meet the Dudes. They’ve seen every YouTube video at least 5 times each, every episode of their show when it was on Nickelodeon, the Documentary, and everything in between. They love these guys. We all do. So it was a pretty amazing thing to be able to actually see them in person instead of on a screen.
DP shirts ✅, VIP passes ✅, excitement overload ✅
And there they were.
A couple things to note: since we had an extra VIP ticket, we asked my brother Rob if he’d like to join us. He did, and we had a great time with him! In this picture, Cody had just asked Max who his favorite dude was and Max was trying to figure out which one to say. He went with Garrett because “he’s so chill and funny”.
They were kind, they were funny, they were as likable as they are in their videos.
They will never forget this moment.
Neither will Rob.
We even got to meet Sparky, who was so incredibly kind. And the kids loved how he said y’all.
We got our VIP merch and grabbed some pizza before locating all the cardboard cutout dudes.
Addie and Norah were at the show too, so we were able to say hi to them for a bit before it started.
It was a great show, and we loved every second.
They had such a fun night, and I loved watching their faces as much as I loved watching the show.
We headed down the shore where Rob and his family are staying, and were able to hang out with them in the morning before heading back to the airport to go back home.
Meanwhile, Tess wasn’t having any fun at home.
Our very favorite thing about Dude Perfect is their desire to share the good news of God’s love and salvation in everything they do. At the end of the show, Tyler laid out a clear gospel message to a stadium filled with people, and ended with a prayer. These guys are the real deal, and if you haven’t checked them out yet, I suggest you do. You won’t be disappointed!
I mean I already loved them, and this just made me love them more. The coolest guys. So, so fun that you guys finally got to go, and I love the looks on the kids faces… pure happiness & excitement 😍
They are just simply the greatest.

Right?! That picture kills me. 😂😂 And yes, I love that we all watch them together as a family! Still waiting for the day when all of us dress up as them for Halloween.
