Our weekend was packed full of sunshine, swimming, and sweet time with good friends.
Our long-time friend Joel and his son came to visit us Thursday through Saturday. These two boys had so much fun together with army guys and approximately 234 nerf battles. Their dads also got in on the nerf action and carried the craziness into the pool as well. Boys will be boys, no matter their age.
On Monday a bunch of people from church came over to enjoy the beautiful day with us.
We even had a surprise visit from some incredibly special people later in the day on Monday- I forgot to get a picture of them, but thankfully I’m going to see them again on Saturday so I’ll make up for it. 😊 It was the perfect ending to an already perfect day.
My bestie turned 40 this weekend as well, and since I wasn’t able to visit her in person, I didn’t want her to think I had forgotten this momentous occasion.
So this was waiting for her when she returned from her birthday trip.
I have a bunch of stuff to finish up the rest of this week (ya’ll, life is just NUTSO right now) but plan to be back next week to share more riveting content from my daily life. 😉
