Our weekend was a fun one.
It all started with a trip to Ikea with the girl gang. My friend Becky is opening up what will no doubt be the cutest home/furniture boutique this summer, so we all headed to Ikea with her to grab some supplies. Have you been in the elevators at Ikea? They’re HUGE. Like, bigger than hospital elevators. But we packed it full. And realized we also had to pack it in her SUV. With us in it too. But we’re moms, and this kinda thing is our jam.
Sure, Jana was in a chiseled out little hole in the back, but we GOT. IT. ALL. IN.
And then made a pit stop for food and fun birthday celebrations.
Saturday and Sunday were sunny and warm, so we were finally able to officially break in the pool for the season.
There were plenty of popsicles
and hot dogs on the deck.
We were living our best life, and are so ready for the warm, carefree days of summer. Only 3 more days of school left!
I grabbed these melting beads and boards at Ikea (I did these things all the time when I was younger and just hadn’t gotten around to getting them for my kids). All four kids LOVE them! They’ve been making the coolest things. Such a fun, quiet activity…which I’ll need starting on Thursday. 😉
