What we’re eating this week:
I let the kids pick our meals this week, so we’re having: burgers, chicken tacos, roast beef, nachos, grilled chicken, and pizza.
What I’m reminiscing about:
What the world looked like this time last year. There was a lot of fear, unknowns, Zoom calls, and constant family time. I don’t miss the fear and unknowns, but being “stuck” at home with my family is something I’ll cherish forever.
What I’m loving:
My friends and I meet at this coffee shop and their food and drinks (and presentation) are seriously so good. And when your friend doesn’t like the cucumber pineapple drink she ordered, you get a bonus drink. Local peeps: do yourself a favor and visit Euphoria in West Union.
What we’ve been up to:
We’re attempting to turn this old shed (which my brother-in-law used to use for puppies) into a barn for our cats. Remember those cute little kittens that we raised? Well, they’re big now…and all still here. We tried taking two of them to the barn where Claire rides horses, but she cried the whole way there and we just couldn’t do it. So the cats came back. ๐คฆ๐ฝโโ๏ธ But I can’t have 5 cats in my garage/on my deck anymore…we need a little space, and hopefully they’ll love their new digs by the garden.
What I’m dreading:
Tess has a covid test on Saturday, an ultrasound and MRI on Monday, and a meeting with her team on Tuesday. I’m both dreading these tests and thankful for the insight they will provide for the care she needs now. My sister sent this backpack filled with kitty goodies and now Tess keeps asking if it’s time for the MRI yet. ๐
What I’m working on:
A little project in out basement for some special people. ๐
What I’m excited about:
WARM WEATHER. You were fun, winter, but I’m done with these cold temperatures and I want to wear flip flops.
What I’m watching:
Well, we finally caught up to the current season of NCIS. So, we switched things up and are watching NCIS LA.
What I’m listening to:
This album is on repeat right now. It’s just beautiful.
What I’m wearing:
This ankle brace. It’s the newest trend, trust me.
What I’m doing this weekend:
Enjoying a beautiful, WARM, Easter! Last year we were still in lockdown and this is what it looked like outside on Easter:
๐.
This year looks much better and we’ll actually get to wear our new Easter threads!
What I’m looking forward to next month:
Max’s birthday and getting all the plants.

Euphoria looks like a place I could find myself at often.
All the prayers for our sweet girl and the many tests ๐
I am SO excited for flip flops and no coats. So much easier to get out the door!
The brace made me LOL ๐
Yay for birthdays and plants! Tyler and I went plant shopping last weekend, looking forward to bringing some color to our yard.
