We were definitely ready to be rid of the negative temperatures, but none of us were quite ready to say goodbye to all the snow. Things finally warmed back up, we played in the snow for two days, and then it all melted and now we’re playing in muddy puddles. But we’re all secretly hoping for one more big snowfall before spring. π
The first day was snowman day. The snow was perfect for packing and everyone chipped in on their unique snowman.
Claire is my hot child. She will wear a tank top and shorts in the house even when it’s cloudy and -25 outside. So 34 degrees is definitely not coat wearing weather in her books. She’s also part monkey when it comes to climbing trees.
And someone kept eating all the carrots, snow covered and all.
And of course there was some hockey and fort building as well.
The following day we hooked Grandpa’s toboggan to the Kubota and went up and down the driveway about 85 times.
Tess was pretty excited.
The kids were soaked down to their underwear when all was said and done. Also, we did secure Tessa’s hat.
We’re so glad we had these perfect snow days before it all melted away. I’m ready for spring, but I also wouldn’t be mad if it snowed just once more.

I feel cold just looking at Claire! But I will say, when itβs been in the negatives 40Β° seems really warm!

Not quite warm enough for short sleeves for me though. π

Please have that last snow you are wishing for before April 1! But so glad they are all enjoying it!
