What I’m reminiscing about:
On this day last year the girls and Ben were headed to the Father-daughter dance at school. I miss things like being allowed in the school and going to fun events.
What I’m loving:
Hot chocolate bombs from our local bakery. They have so many flavors and I love that we can use the Jura to make hot chocolate. It’s so quick and easy!
What we’ve been up to:
Enjoying being outside again. It has been beautiful this week: 40, sunny, and no wind. We’re enjoying all the snow we can before it melts.
What I’m dreading:
The meltdown of the aforementioned snow. Slush and mud for dayyyyyyysssss.
What I’m working on:
Just life at the moment. Cleaning, cooking, playing, organizing, purging.
What I’m excited about:
The girls and I are heading out on another trip to NJ and Boston for spring break!
What I’m watching/reading:
Ben and I finally caught up to the current season of NCIS, so no more binge watching it…we have to wait for the weekly episode. Other weekly shows we watch are:
While we wait for our weekly shows, however, we’re currently binge watching this on Netflix:
I was a huge Karate Kid fan growing up, and this show brings back all the old characters.
As far as reading, I’m currently reading my way through some fantastic devotionals on this site:
There may even be a few on there that I wrote myself. 😉
What I’m wearing:
As soon as the weather gets above freezing, I no longer wear a coat because they’re just the worst. Instead, I choose a heavier sweatshirt (like this one that I’ve had for a few years now and still absolutely love):
and my trusty puffer vest that I’ve had forever and can’t find anymore. I love it because it’s long and comfortably fits over my sweatshirts. I do think this one looks promising, though:

What I’m doing this weekend:
Running kids to basketball and horses.
What I’m looking forward to next month:
Seeing this guy! (I’m referring to the baby…although I won’t mind seeing the pooch either. And their mom. And my mom.)

I love the hot chocolate bombs, and they’re so fun! And I’ve been loving the Abercrombie sweatshirts! I’m very impressed with how warm they are.
So perfect for our winters. ❄️
Yes, I’m also dreading the slush. And the constant ice-thaw-ice cycle we get into in the spring.
Yes! That’s the worst.

Also, I’m considering those waterproof boots…I need a cute pair to wear to work on yucky days! And I like the price point 😉
