Mini Waffle Magic

I’m sure you’ve seen these adorable little waffle makers pop up in stores- especially around the holidays. They have the traditional round waffles, but during the holidays you see gingerbread men, snowflakes, pumpkins, hearts, etc. I always thought they were so cute, but didn’t want another appliance, even a small, $10 one.

But then I saw someone on Pinterest make a heart shaped cinnamon roll in 2 minutes and I caved.

I found the heart shaped one at Target several weeks ago, but they are a little harder to find these days. I did see one sitting on a shelf in the Valentine’s day section last week, so you might luck out if you’re hoping to find one. Which you are, trust me.

So far I have made lots of little heart waffles,

quick cinnamon roll waffles using the original Pillsbury cinnamon rolls,

and egg omelets (Tessa loves these, and they are so quick and easy).

I’ve seen people make a chocolate chip cookie in it, grilled cheese, or mashed potatoes. So many possibilities! And it really doesn’t take up that much room- you can squeeze it in somewhere.
