Currently With the Kids

1. Claire loves playing hockey. She is on the ice rink every day from the time she gets home from school until dark.
2. She’s been asking for a dog since she was 5. At that time, I told her she could maybe get one when she turned 13. Somehow 8 years went by wayyyyyyyyyyy faster than I thought it would, and she turns 13 in August. Even though I told her a dog probably won’t be happening on her birthday, she’s still busy making plans for when the day does come. She has decided she wants a cockapoo and has pictures of them everywhere. Along with a chore sign up sheet to earn money to buy said cockapoo.
3. She still likes for me to pick out her clothes for school, although she’s showing more of an interest in my clothes and shoes lately. I now she’ll be sneaking into my closet soon.

1. Max loves the hockey games. He is a wildman and just charges around everywhere, even though he’s about 2 feet shorter than everyone else.

2. He plays with legos every day- usually creating something new or making a battle of some sort.

3. He is the “entertainer” at school. 🤦🏽‍♀️ Always making everyone laugh. Thankfully his teacher finds him entertaining as well.

1. Grace goes down to the ice every day with Claire. She skates for a bit, but she’s mainly working on making an igloo- which she wants to do all by herself. She can already fit inside it!
2. She is reading like a champ and wants to read all the time. She’s loving Junie B. Jones right now, and I love listening to her laugh hysterically while reading them.
3. She’s working hard on perfecting her cartwheel. All she needs to do is keep her legs straight and she’ll be set.

1. Tessa loves sledding. The faster, the better.
2. She is a chatterbox. If we’re driving somewhere, she talks the entire car ride. When we’re shopping, she talks the whole time. When we’re home, there’s a constant running commentary. There’s just so much going on when you’re 4.
3. She is dressed up in something every day. Cat ears, princess shoes, a gymnastics leotard, fake glasses, her Paw Patrol costume, a tutu- you just never know.
