Today starts the last year in my 30’s. Which I’m perfectly fine with- even though I still find it hard to believe that I’ll be 40 next year. Like, how did that even happen?

I personally love to read random facts about people. I don’t know why-maybe because we’re all so different and unique but also similar…and it’s just intriguing to me. So, if you are like me and enjoy reading random facts about someone then please enjoy these 39 random facts about me.

• I love Star Wars and have been a fan since I was a little girl. But I’ve never been interested in Star Trek.
• My favorite fictional books are Harry Potter and The Hunger Games.
• I really, really do not like listening to people eating. Especially cereal. If you are a slurper, I will leave the room.
• I have an “indoor” pair of sneakers that I wear to workout and around my house. They don’t ever go outside.
• I’m thankful I live somewhere that has 4 seasons.
• I love Disneyworld.
• I don’t like having dishes in my sink.
• I used to clean my floors ALL the time, especially when I had a crawler. Not so much anymore- I let the Eufy do it most of the time now.
• I love pink and purple, although Grace is positive my favorite color is red.

• My favorite time to exercise is right away in the morning- and I don’t eat or drink beforehand.
• I wash my face every night, although I didn’t start doing that until I was around 23 years old.
• I have an obsession with strollers.
• I LOVE having 6 siblings.

• I can’t eat chocolate- it makes me throw up. And yes, it’s very sad and I miss it (it started bothering my stomach when I was in my 20’s. Good thing, because I worked at a candy store when I was a teenager and that would have been really miserable).
• Ben and I watch NCIS every evening. I said I wasn’t going to watch it anymore after Tony Dinozzo left, but I’m still watching.
• I’m cold 90% of the time.
• Claire loves riding horses, but they scare me to death.
• I played field hockey in middle school and high school and loved it. I hated the mouth guards though.
• I’m a type A person. Maybe AA. I forget what Enneagram I am.
• I love to listen to music- it’s soothing, it’s motivating, it’s fun. As long as it’s not country. 😉
• I once had to go to driving school for getting too many speeding tickets in a year.

• I took piano lessons when I was younger and hated them. But now I wish I could play the piano.
• I don’t like to drink lukewarm water- it has to be ice cold.
• I used to think I wanted 6 or 7 kids. 4 is good.
• My family stopped in Iowa on a cross country trip when I was in highschool. I was NOT impressed and said I could never marry a farmer.
• The sound of constant sniffling drives me crazy. I should just wear earplugs when my kids get a cold.
• I love roller coasters.

• I do not like feet…but I love getting a foot rub from Ben.
• I knew I wanted to be a teacher when I was in 1st grade. I taught 4th and 2nd grades before I had kids. I don’t plan to ever go back to teaching full time (although I did love it), but I do plan on being a sub when Tessa goes to school.
• Taking a bath is the least likely way for me to relax- give me a massage or time to read a book any day.
• I have big plans for my 40th that do not include a party. Of any kind. Well, maybe I’d make an exception for a roller skating party….

• I took a ballroom dance class in college and loved it.
• I’ve never broken a bone, but I have had stitches and staples.
• I like to use power tools.
• I wish I would have gone sky diving before I had kids. Seems a little risky now and Ben would never let me do it.
• I wish someone could come do my hair every day.
• I am the techy person in our family. Except, I’m not really techy. I just ask my techy brother.
• My mom, sister, and I have a show that we only watch when we’re together. It’s the stupidest show ever, but it’s our thing and we’re in too deep to turn back now.
• I firmly believe that age is just a number. 😏
