Our kids (especially Claire) love animals. Claire has been asking for a puppy since she was 3, and I told her MAYBE when she’s 13. That’s next year, y’all. 😳
I like to look at animals, and some really are so adorable, but they’re just not my favorite thing to have around all the time.
The place where Claire gets her horse riding lessons is PERFECT for these animal loving kiddos, however. There are horses, there are kittens, there are big cats, there are many, many, many dogs, and there are even puppies. And the very best part? We get to enjoy them and then leave them. 😏
The family that lives there breed Brittany Spaniels, so they often have puppies at various stages.
And then of course there are several horses.
And even some tolerant kittens (which you’d think my kids have had enough of lately, but no….).
There’s even a frog pond on the property, but so far I’ve been able to come up with excuses as to why we can’t go visit the frogs.
From riding horses, to chasing kittens, to snuggling puppies- there’s certainly no shortage of animal enjoyment for these kids each Saturday. So maybe, just maybe, I can push Claire’s personal puppy dreams to the age of 18 instead of 13. 😉
