Christmas Day

Last week, sickness decided to plague us yet again.  Including me.  😑 Although truth be told, I’d much rather be sick than my kiddos-at least I’m guaranteed to make it to the bathroom on time.  So here’s hoping this week is much healthier around these parts.   Now back to our Florida recap…Claire and Max were up bright and early on Christmas morning, anxiously waiting for us to tell them it was time to come out of their room.  Grace woke up easily, but the fourth child took some convincing to get out of her bed.  Once she was awake enough to realize that there were presents waiting for her, however, she was ready to go.  And then everything was a blur of unwrapping, squealing, and asking “can you open this?!”.            In other words, a perfect chaotic and noisy Christmas morning.

Yes, this did in fact get shot off the balcony and onto the beach. 

After playing with their new gifts and enjoying a delicious breakfast by Uncle Josh and Aunt Beth, we all headed to the beach. 

After a full day at the beach and pool, we headed over to Grandpa and Grandma’s for their annual Christmas Day dinner.  Which was beautiful.  

I mean, you can’t beat these dinner views.
