Happy Friday! I had wonderful plans for blogging this week, but my computer is crazy slow right now and just getting on my nerves. So while my computer was definitely not on my list of favorites from this week, here are some things that did make the cut:
Favorite picture: 
A few of our favorite Australians came to visit this week, and it didn’t take Grace and Tessa long to hop onto Clive’s lap and have him read numerous books to them.
Favorite kid quote:
Grace, on the way home from school: “Mom, why did you give me these pants to wear today? They were sweating me up all day!”
Favorite clothing item:
This sweater is that perfect comfy, oversized, cute sweater that you want to throw on with some warm socks and then go chill in front of a fireplace. I wore mine to Target this week, but whatever- it’s versatile.
Favorite food:
I love soup when it’s starts to get chilly outside. It’s only 55 here today, so this chicken tortilla soup is what’s happening for dinner tonight.
Favorite verse:

Favorite moment:
Max was sick all last week- feverish and coughing nonstop. He was home from school the whole week, and I felt like I did nothing but wipe down surfaces, fill up the diffuser and humidifier, wash bedding and blankets, and try to keep Tessa away from his spot on the couch. Ben was busy and after being cooped up all week I felt like I was short tempered most of the time. The kids had off on Monday, and Max had been fever free for a couple days, so we decided to take a much needed trip outdoors to our favorite apple orchard. It felt so good to just have fun with the kids and enjoy the fresh air.

We were supposed to have chicken soup for dinner tonight… but my middle son decided to help me out by making it for us and accidentally read 1 tsp of garlic as 1 tablespoon of garlic. It was just a bit to garlicky for anyone in this house to eat so we ended up with subway instead.
Haha, yes that may have been a bit too much garlic! How sweet of him for wanting to help out in the kitchen though!

Grace came home with a paper hat EVERY SINGLE DAY and I threw them out after a few days. SHe was not very happy with me…but for real, there were paper hats everywhere!
