Friday Favorites

This week was a flurry of nonstop activity. I finished up a tiny little project I was working on, we celebrated Claire’s birthday, and we just had a whole lot of summer living going on. So while my house may look like a small family of raccoons has taken up residence inside, it’s just going to have to wait until later because we’re hanging with some pretty special people today and tomorrow.

Claire is wearing this dress in the above photo, and it looks so cute on her. Better yet, it’s very comfortable, she loves wearing it, and I have a dress in the same color. 😏

Favorite moment:

Claire chose to eat at Texas Roadhouse for her birthday so she could sit in that legendary saddle.
But then she saw all the other people in the restaurant and had second thoughts about whether or not she really wanted them all looking at her.
And then she heard about the free ice cream that came with sitting in the saddle, and she decided the embarrassment was totally worth it. 😂
