Tessa loves Curious George and animals. So we decided to do a girly jungle theme for her party!
Unfortunately, most of the Curious George party accessories I ordered came the day AFTER her party (when online shopping fails you😔). But she didn’t know the difference, and we still had plenty of animals to decorate with.
Balloon garland is my new favorite party decoration. I need a big event so I can make a huge one! So much fun to create.
Each animal had a party hat, courtesy of Claire and Grace.
Even though she doesn’t exactly understand what birthdays are yet, she thought all the balloons in our house were pretty awesome.
She got a little shy when everyone was singing to her,
but got over it real fast as soon as she was able to shove chocolate cake in her mouth
and she didn’t even bother with her fork.
Tess went first for the piñata…and just so happened to grab the right string and spill George’s contents.
It was a pretty fun time celebrating our 2 year old! We don’t know what her future will look like, but we are so thankful for these moments of good health and pure joy.
One of the lessons Tessa has taught us is to enjoy each moment. Time is fleeting, and none of us know what tomorrow will bring, so be sure to slow down and make the most of today!
