This time last year, Ben was completely finished planting. Due to our less-than-ideal “spring” weather, his first day of planting was this week. And then it poured, so it was also his last day of planting this week. But we all enjoyed this sunny planting day while it lasted.

Lately Tessa asks everyone what their favorite thing about something is. Randomly throughout the day she’ll say, “Mom, what is your favorite thing about yourself?” or “Grace, what is your favorite thing about your drawing?”. I need some of that positive energy.

Continuing with the Encanto obsession in this household, Tessa and Grace created their own Mirabel and Isabella costumes. And then Tessa danced her little heart out to all the songs. And she wears those glasses 24/7.

My personal favorite is when we get to hear the entire 3rd grade class playing them in a concert. 🙉
