As soon as Tessa’s drains were removed I started looking at Disney Resorts. Everything was booked for our spring break week (and I mean EVERYTHING) so we decided to go the week before. I’m so glad we did. Our weather was perfect, the crowds were manageable, and now we have a whole week to get our lives back in order before school starts again.
We arrived in Orlando at noon last Monday to a gorgeous sunny and 87 degree day. We grabbed lunch at Cracker Barrel and as we walked back to our car, I received a text that our room was ready. We unloaded our stuff, donned our swimsuits, and spent the rest of the afternoon at the pool.
No one was more excited to hop in the pool than this girl.
She enjoyed every second.
We stayed at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort, and loved it. It was very peaceful, which was really nice after busy days at the parks. The resort had a great activity pool, hot tub, horse-drawn carriage rides, bike trail, and boat that took you to Disney Springs.
We had two adjoining rooms, each with 2 queen beds and a twin-sized pull down bed. So each one of us had our own bed. And that was pretty awesome.
We grabbed some dinner and ice cream, and walked around the resort before calling it a night to prepare ourselves for a big day of walking the following day.
They look so big in this picture (especially Tess) and it makes me all 😭 every time I look at it.
