The kids had off on Friday due to an inservice, so we decided to head somewhere fun for the day. Enter: the Mall of America.
Of course everything is different with Covid, and only half the rides are open right now (really not sure why, but whatevs), but there were also hardly any people. The only things we really missed were the zipline/ropes course and the Paw Patrol area. Tess liked looking at it from afar, however, and we had told her ahead of time that it wasn’t going to be open.
She loved all the other rides though. And posed with Mr. Grouper.
Grace went on her first upside down roller coaster and absolutely loved it.
After doing all the rides, we visited the Lego store and then ate at their favorite restaurant: the Rainforest Cafe-
where someone was very focused on coloring her menu.
Then we paid a visit to the Crayola store to pick out some new markers and crayons. Personally, I just like to go and stare at this wall for awhile.
It was such a fun day. And we loved the views during our drive there:
and our drive home:

Such a perfect little getaway!
Yay, Gracie! Your little dare devil.
Is it normal that the Crayola store gave me Home Edit vibes?

It had The Home Edit written all over it with all those rainbows!
