Before our temperatures dropped into the negatives, we enjoyed a lot of outdoor time.
Remember these cute little kittens?
They’re still here.
Their little house (which they absolutely love) is usually on our deck with a heated bed inside it to keep them warm. We did move it into the garage temporarily with the negative temperatures, but they really don’t mind the cold and snow- in fact, they love playing in the snow and they’re very entertaining.
Ok, she’s not exactly playing here and looks pretty miserable, but I assure you they actually do love the snow. As fun as it was to have all those cute little kittens, however, I do not want more. So they took a day trip to the humane society this week to have a little work done.
(Thanks to my MIL for allowing me to use her car while mine was in the shop….and I apologize that the cats were in it. And that I ran it out of gas. π)
The end of last week we had blizzards followed by ridiculously cold temperatures. So we got creative with inside activities.
Tess loves doing The Little Gym at home. In a leotard of course.
The kids didn’t have school on Thursday or Friday, so there was some baking, gaming, crafting,
and a lot of sliding.
These crazies decided to play hockey on Saturday when it felt like -17 out. I declined their invitation.
I did keep looking out the window to make sure they were all still moving around though. Sadly, the extreme cold continues this week. Good time to keep plugging away at closet organization…
