Today I’m linking up with Shay and Erika to take a look at our Christmas cards. Do you still get excited about receiving Christmas cards in the mail? I feel like social media has maybe taken a bit of the fun and surprise away, since we are able to stay connected with people so much more these days. Nevertheless, I still enjoy opening my mailbox and seeing cards in there and having them hanging in my home. Several years ago a friend of mine mentioned how, when Christmas is over, she prays for each family as she takes down their card. I loved this idea, and do it every year. Long story short, keep sending me your cards. π
And here’s a look at our cards from the past 12 years…
2008. Babies with a baby.
2009. Couldn’t find the card, but I remember this was the picture we used for it. Dull, lifeless background and all.
2010. Max in the house.
2011. Our outfits don’t exactly match the colors in the card. π€
2012. I like this one.
2013. Grace was 4 days old in this picture. Our Christmas card doubled as a birth announcement. Two birds, one stone.
2014. Nothing too exciting that year.
2015. This pretty card doubled as a pregnancy announcement.
2016. All four kiddos. They’re so tiny. π
2017. Still little. Still snuggly.
2018. Tessa’s first pictures where she was able to walk! I remember how excited my photographer (and good friend) and I were watching her walk all around.
2019. When we were blissfully unaware of what 2020 would bring.

I love getting cards too! And loving all these throwbacks. Can’t wait to see yours this year π
