Scout had an appointment at the groomer’s on Saturday, so we decided to head to a nearby park to enjoy the fall leaves. They didn’t disappoint.
It was seriously the most beautiful fall day. Inside the park, at least. Outside the shelter of these trees there were 40 mph winds.
Grace is 100% mini me. In her backpack she had a notebook, pencil, magnifying glass, tissues, a trash bag, bandaids, and snacks. We like to be prepared.
Those backpacks also came in handy when we heard walnuts dropping out of trees.
We collected leaves, climbed up hills, prayed we didn’t get lost, and enjoyed the views. Any thankfully didn’t need any of Grace’s bandaids.
