Yesterday we were hearing about the importance of listening to God’s voice. We were reminded that there are different voices vying for our attention all the time: the world, the devil, and God. I loved the reminder that the only way to have God’s voice louder than the others is by spending time in His word, ensuring that His words are constantly present in our minds. If we aren’t actively seeking to hear and follow His voice, the other voices will drown Him out. And God’s voice is the only voice that loves us no matter what, is there whenever we need it, and only wants to provide us with the path that leads to eternal life with Him forever.
My prayer this week is that I will hear, and listen, to HIS voice above all others.
