Grayson made us some breakfast on Thanksgiving morning while we watched the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade.
We spent Thanksgiving at Kelly’s in-laws. My kids love Tim and Jeanie, because their house is all kinds of fun and they are always doing fun things.
Like shooting cans in the backyard.
Even though we were all wishing that a baby was arriving on Thanksgiving, we had a fantastic day filled with food, football, and fun.
The following day we all headed to the Christmas tree farm to help Kel find the perfect tree.
And Tess found more treasures. 🤦🏽♀️
We have fun waiting for babies to arrive no matter the season.
We got the tree all decorated and then headed out in our pjs to look at Christmas lights.
Max and Ben headed home the following day, and these two buddies had to say goodbye. 😢
We walked around Newburyport one evening, because that triggered Kel’s labor with Grayson.
Not this time. But we still enjoyed the fresh air.
We kept Kel walking by heading to a park the following day. Yes, those are my incredible gymnastics skills. Move over, Simone Biles.
Since that didn’t seem to work either, we thought we’d try putting Kel in ice skates that evening.
Just kidding. BUT, the rest of us enjoyed this beautiful rink!
Thumbs up all around for this skate-loving crew!
Grayson tried ice skating for the first time, and he loved it!
While we didn’t get to meet our newest baby cousin like we had hoped, we still had so much fun helping Kel pass the time and doing ALL the Christmas festivities together.
And Claire was able to entertain Sadie for a bit.
Two days after we flew home, however, someone decided it was finally time to enter the world:
Miss Quinn Ema is absolutely perfect and we cannot wait to go back and meet her!
