After a pretty dreadful week, we were very thankful for a peaceful weekend that included Tessa finally showing slow signs of improvement. It also included a visit from one of Max’s favorite people: his cousin Jacob (along with Ben’s absolute favorite sister). Max and Jacob are two peas in a pod: early risers with endless amounts of energy, football loving, Minecraft playing, and just all around boyish balls of fun. They had such a great weekend together. 
Saturday was a beautiful day, and perfect weather to enjoy the hot tub. These four kept daring each other to hop out and run to different places before hopping back in again. Max even ran half way down our gravel driveway. 🤦🏽♀️ Grace ran a few steps before seeing a “very scary grasshopper”, which brought her participation to a screeching halt. She decided to wait and enjoy a more relaxed time in the hot tub with Tess.
I was trying to get a picture of the peaceful, foggy morning on Sunday, but instead caught a picture of the sun about to blow up. 🤔
