November 1st started with decorating for Christmas of course.
We did a little balloon arch for the 5th/6th grade Veteran’s Day program.
We enjoyed another spectacular northern lights display from our front yard, this time featuring Christmas lights too.

We hosted a baby shower for the sweetest momma.

We enjoyed some warm weather,
a Sunday school Friendsgiving,
and Grace’s piano recital.
During Thanksgiving break, we took a quick trip to Chicago.
We loved all the Christmas decorations!
We went up to the SkyDeck, but it was very foggy and we could just make out the streets down below.
We stopped at the Bean,

ate/played our way through the Museum of Ice Cream,
walked through the largest Starbucks,
and had some Butterbeer.
Scout came along too and thoroughly enjoyed all the smells.
We had friends over for Thanksgiving and enjoyed a relaxing day of football, food, and Mexican Train.
My girls always feel sad that I never had an American Girl growing up, and they know that Molly was my favorite. So they made me a Molly doll.

We finally got some snow the day after Thanksgiving and we loved it!
