What we’re eating this week:
Right now our weather feels very fallish- 50’s, windy, and crisp. And fall work is in full swing, so we’re running food to the field too. With that being said, several of these recipes are happening this week.
What I’m reminiscing about:
Our trip to OCNJ with my sister, nephew, and momma a few weeks ago.
What I’m loving:
The Bondi Boost wave wand. If I blow dry my hair, it’s super straight- and looks straggly by the end of the day. I prefer to just let it air dry and then give it some shape with a curling iron, or more recently, the wave wand. It quickly creates loose waves that stay in all. day. long.
What we’ve been up to:
Torturing Playing with the kittens.
What I’m working on:
Right now, just life. And trying to organize my closets.
What I’m dreading:
Ladybugs. They show up every fall, and attempt to take over my house.
What I’m excited about:
The kids are beginning face-to-face learning 4 days a week starting on Monday! I had a brief moment of sadness, realizing that our homeschool days were coming to a close (for nowπ)…but it was brief. We I need the schedule that school provides. The hybrid method we’ve been doing made it hard to get into a daily routine, and I do really miss having a routine- I mean, it’s been SEVEN MONTHS people. The kids are excited to be back at school with ALL their friends, and not worry about bringing ALL their supplies back and forth every single day. We still have Wednesdays off, which I love- a perfect little break right in the middle of the week.
What I’m watching/reading:
My sister suggested The Home Edit on Netflix, and I’m hooked. I love watching people organize things- it’s so satisfying. Also, I’m going to rainbow all my closets. Last year I Marie Kondoed my drawers, this year I’m rainbowing my closets.
What I’m listening to:
Is there an organization playlist out there? If so, I need it.
What I’m wearing:
Leggings (these are my favorite)
a cardigan ( I just got this one and loooooooove it) or
an oversized sweatshirt (like this one)
and some cute tee, usually from Orange Possum (find them on the Gram) or Roolee. It’s all about comfort and layers right now.
What I’m looking forward to next month:
My mom is coming for a visit, and hopefully we’ll be checking things off our “fall bucket list”!
