7 years ago we took the kids to the Ark Encounter in Kentucky. It was such a cool experience, and we knew we would have to do it again when they were older and could actually remember it. 
We were going to a Bible conference in North Carolina and the Ark is on the way, so it was the perfect opportunity for us to visit.
We had to do a couple comparison pictures. 
And they’re just so big. 🥹
Grandma gave them money to get some souvenirs….and of course these two found more stuffies, bringing their collection total to 3,426.
We were also able to find their new animals in real life.
After visiting all the animals and enjoying a camel ride (the activity Tessa had been looking forward to the most), we headed to the Creation Museum.
It was also exceptionally cool and full of information. 
We decided to the end the day with a non-reading activity, and did the ropes/zipline course. Everyone loved it!
