Week 2 started with some pool time with cousins after church,

followed by the usual:

We also snuck in a day trip to Washington DC.
We started with the Holocaust Museum,
made our way to the Washington Monument,
headed over to the Lincoln Memorial,
waved at Donald and Melania,
and stopped in at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum.
We clocked in a lot of steps and did a lot of sweating, but it was a great day!
We enjoyed another beautiful beach day, and then were joined by more cousins for some incredibly fun days.

We started the 4th of July in the best way possible:

Grace and Norah worked hard to make a bunch of bracelets to sell in front of our house. They sat out there for a few mornings/afternoons and had a lot of business, resulting in a lot of cash!
They already have big plans for next year’s shop.
After a beautiful beach day (for most of us- poor Tess was running a fever that day so she and I enjoyed a Hannah Montana marathon), we enjoyed burgers and hot dogs and games on the porch, followed by fireworks.

We had one more incredible beach and boardwalk day before it was time to head back home.
OCNJ, you never disappoint.

Summer fun and memories made!
