My best friend Cindy lives in North Carolina. We definitely don’t see each other as often as we would like, and she was wayyyyyy overdue for a visit to my house. The last time she was here was 13 years ago for Claire’s 1st birthday.
Our appearances may have changed drastically just a bit over the last 13 years but our friendship definitely hasn’t changed.
Ava and Lexi don’t remember too much from their last visit here. 😉 But thankfully we made memories to last a lifetime on this visit!
We had perfect weather for doing all the outdoor activities. Everyone kept busy with everything from 4 wheeling to kick ball to volleyball, swimming, jet skiing, tubing, wakeboarding, kayaking, and fishing.
And of course you can’t visit Iowa in the summer and not husk sweet corn. Our first few days were busy and fun, but we still had more activities to squeeze in!
Yay!!! We made the blog! Haha:). SUCH a fun week! Love the old pics from 13 years ago compared to today. It was so great how the kids got along so well:).
