Favorite clothing item:

This is not exactly clothing, but I got this nail polish last week and it’s the prettiest fall color.

I hate wearing coats. They’re bulky and a pain to wear in the car or store, and I just don’t like that feeling of confinement I get when I’m wearing a coat. Vests, however, are my favorite. I will wear them until it’s cold enough that a coat becomes necessary in order to prevent hypothermia. I got this vest last year and I love it. It’s perfect for the fall, and to throw on inside in the dead of winter when I just need a little extra warmth.

There are limited sizes left in that particular vest, but I saw this one at Old Navy and thought it was so cute.

Favorite food:

We had this soup on a cold, rainy day this week using our last bunch of tomatoes from the garden. It’s so simple and so good!

It was homecoming week at school, and these three got creative on Wacky Wednesday.

Favorite mom meme:

Potty training is, without a doubt, my least favorite parenting task. I wasn’t exactly sure how potty training Tessa would go, as she has numerous vascular malformations in that area. I decided it was time, however, and so we tackled it this week. Wednesday had me wanting to take a quick solo vacation and let Ben deal with it, but then she miraculously stayed dry all day yesterday! Perhaps the biggest surprise of all is that she is able to use the potty normally, in spite of her malformations. Another answer to prayer where this girl is concerned, and we’re so thankful!
