what i’m reminiscing about:
This baby girl turns FIVE in two weeks. She’s going to start Preschool next year, and is becoming a little girl-not a toddler anymore. And my heart can’t handle it.
what i’m loving:
The girls spring/summer playhouse. Who knew a playhouse would be so much fun to decorate?
what we’ve been up to:
All the end-of-school-year things.
what I’m dreading:
Tessa has a big surgery coming up. We were hoping to hold it off until next winter, but I don’t think she’ll make it that far. I feel like the area where she needs surgery just keeps throwing things at us, letting us know that the surgery needs to happen sooner rather than later. So at this point I’m just praying she can make it through the summer.
what i’m working on:
Trying to sew a new canopy for a swing we have outside. I’m not really sure how it’s going to go tbh.
what i’m excited about:
Having a break from packing lunches. Downside: they’ll be asking for food approximately 985 times each day.
what i’m watching:
All of our shows are coming to an end for the summer (The Rookie, The Resident, and NCIS), but thankfully there’s still 10 seasons of NCIS LA.
what I’m listening to:
Tessa LOVES this song and wants to listen to it on repeat. Which is fine by me.
what i’m wearing:
I love this basic white tee– I actually bought another one because this one was always in the wash and I needed it.
And these jeans are still my favorite, especially when the weather isn’t too hot or cold. They’re loose and breezy, and are perfect with a tee or tank.
And if you’re looking for a cute, comfortable, easy summer dress- I absolutely love this one.
what i’m doing this weekend:
Horse lessons, and cleaning up outside because our deck will (hopefully) be finished! Just in time for Memorial Day.❤️
what i’m looking forward to next month:
Heading to Boston to celebrate this sweet boy’s first birthday
followed by a couple weeks at our favorite place on earth.
