Do you like to shop early for holidays? I do. I do not like crowds when I’m shopping, and I also do not like empty shelves where things I had been eyeing up once sat. There’s just more peace in my world if I grab things when I see them. With that in mind, I thought I’d share a few things with you.
First is our favorite Valentine tradition: each night for the month of February I write something I love about each kid and hang it on their bedroom door. They love waking up in the morning to see what I wrote. Kinda like Elf on the shelf, but more meaningful. And without all the moving.
Teachers deserve little gifts, especially this year. I thought these boxes of chocolates, face mask, and valentine’s nail polish from Target were adorable.
I love to use these plain card collecting boxes to make something for Max,
while there’s always some super cute kit for Grace.
I do like to have a nice selection of snacks to send to the classroom party instead of just cupcakes. Because I’m sure applesauce and veggie straws balance out all the candy and sweets. 😉

Love these! The tradition of writing things you love about each kid is so special. I think I’ll steal that someday 😉 This year we’re celebrating with a cute shirt!
