What we’re eating this week:
Crock pot meals: Roast, soup, pasta, and a chicken casserole. And a Halloween dinner of course. 🎃
What I’m reminiscing about:
Halloween last year. When I was allowed to attend classroom parties and the parade. When the only masks the kids wore were for Halloween. When life just felt lighter. But we have some fun planned for this Halloween, and we’re still going to make it great.
What I’m loving:
Dark fall nails. I added this set to my gel polish collection and it’s fall/winter perfection. Claire and I are loving this sparkly halloween manicure.
What we’ve been up to:
Halloween prepping! The kids don’t have school on Friday, so we’ll be doing all the Halloween festivities.
What I’m working on:
Figuring out how to turn my car into a whale for Trunk or Treat.
What I’m dreading:
All the winter gear. Bundling up is just not my favorite.
What I’m excited about:
I have always been the person who decorates for Christmas as soon as Halloween is over. And I will continue to be that person, especially this year when we all need things that bring JOY.
What I’m watching/reading:
So many cheesy Christmas movies, so little time- need to get an early start.
What I’m listening to:
It’s been cold and snowy, which is reason enough for me.
What I’m wearing:
If you are in need of a lightweight pajama pant (who are these people that can sleep in flannel or fleece pants?!), these are perfection. Great weight, loose fit, so comfortable.
What I’m looking forward to next month:
All the Christmas things, Ben wrapping up harvest, and Thanksgiving. ❤️
