A teacher in Grace’s school tested positive for Covid, so out of an abundance of caution, other classes near that classroom are now doing remote learning for 14 days. Which Grace is not thrilled about. But Tessa thinks it’s pretty great when she can join in on some of the lessons.
Favorite kid quote:
I’ve been trying to get Max to read this book for years. He loves history, so I figured this would be right up his alley. But apparently he’s sick of me telling him to read it every time he’s in need of a new book.
Favorite clothing item:
These shoes from Target are my absolute favorite right now. They are cute, they are comfortable, and you simply need to scuff them on your car tires to make the perfect Golden Goose dupe. Or wear them to the pumpkin patch.
Favorite food:
We’re in the season of lots of casseroles and soups- and this pulled chicken breast has come in so handy! You keep it in the freezer, warm it up on the stove, and it’s ready to be added to anything. Perfect for busy days, which we all seem to have. All the time.
Favorite verse:
He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you, but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God? Micah 6:8
Favorite moment:
Our temperatures dipped below freezing this week, which meant it was time to start a fire. And make sure everyone had adequate outdoor gear.

DYING at Homeschool Heather!
Also, love Max’s [not so subtle] note. Very cool that he’s into history! I’ll have to remember that 🙂
Those shoes are super cute, love that the leopard phase is still going strong.
