Happy first day of fall!
Today I’m linking up with Ashley and Erika to talk about fall decor. What’s your favorite item to decorate with in the fall? The pumpkins? The mums? The cornstalks? I love it all.
I loved last year’s all white porch theme– but sadly, the nursery didn’t have any white mums. Instead I went with a dark burgundy color. Since I was already off the white color scheme I thought I’d go all color crazy and do some light orange and green pumpkins too. They are beautiful, and make me wonder why I’m not growing my own cool pumpkins.
I love these fluffy grass things that I found in the ditch by our house. They are huge plants (probably weeds that are causing my kids allergies to flare up) but they make the prettiest fall decor. Sorry kids.
The kids each got a little pumpkin decor at their virtual learning locations.
And Tessa has a whole pile in the living room that she can mess with all day.
She has even more at her own house too, so there’s certainly no pumpkin shortage here.

I legit almost texted you last week about growing your own decor pumpkins next year, so I’m pretty sure this is a sign that needs to happen.

So many lovely and cozy touches for fall! I am all about the mums and I put out a few fake/plastic white pumpkins I found at Michael’s one year that look like the real thing but I don’t have to worry about frost killing them.
