On June 11th, in the early morning hours following Tessa’s birthday, my sister woke up in labor. Grayson Davis entered this world later that morning, weighing in at 8 lb 4 oz and 21″ long. And we are all smitten.
Since we weren’t able to go see him in the hospital, we hung out at my sister’s in-law’s and were able to see him on FaceTime.
Grayson is one loved little boy. We all couldn’t wait for them to come home!
We did manage to keep busy while they were in the hospital. I mean, the beach is always a good place to kill some time. 
We were there at low tide, and the shallow water looked like the Caribbean- it was beautiful! The kids (& Grammy, the notorious sea shell finder) loved looking for sand dollars.
Tess would have spent all day in the waves.
The next day, we got all ready for Grayson’s homecoming, 
including some reminders for visitors. 😉
Even Sadie dressed up for the occasion.
Finally they arrived, and we couldn’t stop staring at his sweet little face. 
My sister is a natural momma, and has been doing such an incredible job. My only wish is that we lived closer and I could just pop over every single day once in a while to hold the little squish and swing on her front porch with her. 💙 Thank goodness for technology.
