Teacher Gifts

 

Today I’m linking up with Ashley and Erika to talk about teacher gifts.  Because if there is one thing we can all agree on after homeschooling for several weeks, it’s that teachers are definitely deserving of all the gifts.

I feel like the teachers deserve extra gifts this year.  All of a sudden they were forced to figure out how to teach their lessons virtually, and use technology that they probably had no intention of ever learning how to use in the first place.  They had to gather up everything that was unexpectedly left in their classroom and lockers, and won’t even get to properly say goodbye to their students.  Like the rest of us, 2020 sure won’t be a year they’ll ever forget.

Anyway, I thought I’d share our gifts this year in case you are in need of some new ideas. 😏 I feel like a cute summer bag is something anyone could use.  We got this one for Grace’s teacher and added some cute paper plates, cups, napkins and cutlery because it’s always nice to have a break from dishes.  This whole line of plates/cups/napkins from Target is adorable.We got this bag for Claire’s teacher and added a cute, summery cup.  

Max’s teacher is a younger guy, and I thought this smores caddy was the cutest thing! Everything has a special place inside the caddy so it’s all ready to go, and we filled it up with his teacher’s favorite chocolates and other smores essentials. We also added some sparklers as well as a few toys and treats for his dog.  

Other gifts we’ve done in the past:

A pretty casserole dish with a favorite recipe inside,

A beach towel wrapped up with a magazine, sunscreen, and sunglasses.

Or a drink dispenser filled with snacks, a gift card, and a book.
