If it’s not coronavirus, it’s murder hornets. I don’t even know what’s happening in this world anymore. So I’m just going to reflect on what I DO know and love.
1. Tired, snuggly kids.
Yes, sometimes overly-tired kids can go from snuggly to “so-help-us-all” real quick, but this was a brief little “snuggle and recharge” sesh, and I loved it.
2. Flowering bushes and trees.
I have been waiting and waiting for things to start blooming, and they finally started this week! Love, love, love.
3. Random texts/calls from friends.
We’re all dealing with the same things right now, and it’s always nice to have some good conversations with your buddies- things that make you laugh, give you encouragement, and just keep you going through it all. And to talk with someone other than your children for a bit.
4. Realizing that next week is our LAST week of school.
May 15th is our official last day of school. And we’re all ready for it.
YOUR TURN! Give me all your positive, happy, thankful thoughts.
