After watching a Bill Nye the Science Guy video about colors, I thought it would be fun to do some easy rainbow experiments. I found these experiments here, and the kids absolutely loved them.
Walking Water
This was easy, and really fun for the kids to watch over time.
I used the printable worksheets for the kids to make predictions about what they thought was going to happen to the water and paper towels. Even Tessa participated. 😉Tessa loved watching the water creep up the paper towels. It was so pretty!
Magic Milk
This experiment was really easy too- and very fun to watch. Find the directions here. These experiments are great because you most likely have all the ingredients on hand and kids of all ages enjoy them!
And just in case you’re looking for some ideas for April Fool’s jokes for your kiddos tomorrow, here’s a few that I’m planning on doing😏:
