I love that it doesn’t take much to make kids happy and excited. My kids look forward to each and every little holiday, and I enjoy doing special things for them on those days. For Valentine’s Day, I always have a little surprise for them when they wake up.It’s nothing much- just some festive balloons and a couple little gifts. Usually something they need (like a new water bottle or markers) and then a fun little gift (like these emoji bean bag balls). And of course a fun treat for breakfast.
We love making boxes to hold their valentines at school. They pick out their boxes each year- Claire’s are usually pretty simple and she likes to create it herself, whereas Max always has some special request that he has his mind set on for me to make. This year he requested baby Yoda. Challenge accepted. Their lunches and outfits/hairstyles are themed too. #soextra
I like to pop in during their classroom party at school to bring treats or do a couple minute-to-win-it style gamesI always have the dinner table set when they come home from school and we do something fun and simple for dinner, like these heart-shaped pizzas and fondue.Do you prefer to go out for Valentine’s Day or enjoy a cozy evening at home?

Oh girl I wish!! I’m going to attempt it on Grace this year, who does NOT enjoy having her hair done. Should be interesting. 😂
