In August, we had lots of fun visits from family and friends.
First, my brother and sister-in-law came from NJ.
There was lots of swimming,
slip n sliding,
ninja-ing,
driving of all the things,
jet skiing,
and some pretty epic tubing.
Poor Elijah was probably traumatized after this….but it’s one of my favorite pictures of all time. 
The older kids had a youth bible weekend going on the following weekend, so more friends came to visit for that. Hopefully one day Max won’t need to scooch down in order to have his feet reach the footrest like everybody else.
It was SO HOT that weekend, so we spent the entire day in the pool or on the river.
And then we watched a storm roll in. 
It was a busy, but super fun week!
