And just like that, I’ve been MIA for another month.
I’m alive and well, I promise. Am I constantly treading water just to keep my head afloat these days? Indeed I am. But still alive and well.
April was a fun and busy, busy, busy month.
We started spending a lot of time cheering on our favorite hurdler. We were usually bundled up in all of our winter gear, stocked with Hot Hands and hot chocolate.
We were all so excited when our help arrived. They got here just in time for track meets, piano recitals, prom balloons, field work, birthdays, house construction, and everything in between. Apparently they are gluttons for punishment, but we love them for it.
Grace did so well at her recital, and we just love her piano teacher.
Claire became Vice President of our school’s National Honor Society.
She was absolutely thrilled about the ceremony.
We had the craziest storms every night, one leaving us with piles of hail in the morning.
We went to an Easter egg hunt that had the cutest animals.
After that egg hunt we headed to a friend’s house for another egg hunt.
It’s fun to collect eggs, and it’s fun to whip your basket full of eggs.
We headed home and continued the Easter fun by dying eggs.
For a second, Max thought he was too old to dye Easter eggs. Not. A. Chance.
Another day, another egg hunt.
Nothing says teenage boy like Bob Ross undies.
A chilly, rainy Easter Sunday- but filled with joy and hope knowing Jesus died on the cross for our sins and rose again 3 days later. ❤️
The Bob Ross undies 😂😂😂
Love that picture of Claire doing the hurdles!
Seems that most of April was spent hunting Easter eggs 😂
Max is deep in thought as he walks on those hailstones! Winter coming?!
