Day 2 had us eating breakfast while pulling into the port at Nassau.
We had a port adventure that day to visit Atlantis. We were doing a dolphin encounter as well as enjoying all the water slides, so it was a full day.
After finding our way through the maze that is the Atlantis resort, we grabbed a quick lunch and headed to Dolphin Cay. That place is huge- I love seeing the dolphins with so much space to swim. We were able to watch them swim and play before our group started.
I knew that this would be an incredible experience- but somehow it was even better than I had imagined. We all absolutely LOVED it and we had the sweetest dolphin.
The dolphin trainer was very informative and funny and had us laughing the whole time. And our dolphin, Sky, was so playful and interactive.
And now Grace wants to be a dolphin trainer when she grows up. 😉
We spent the rest of the day on the slides before it was time to head back to the ship with some very tired little girls.
Poor Tessa had been up all night with ear pain, and while ibuprofen helped with the pain during the day it was still really bothering her, so we decided to get it checked out. Turns out she had an ear infection, but thankfully they were able to give us some medicine to help her feel better.
We cleaned up, watched a show, and headed to dinner with Mickey ketchup, mustache fries, origami fish
and not one, but two entrees for these hungry teen boys.

Are you even a 10 year old girl if you don’t want to be a dolphin trainer when you grow up? What a cool experience!
Also, so awesome that they have docs and meds on board the ship!

Right? I told her I always wanted to be a teacher….except for the brief time when I considered being a dolphin trainer. 😂
