I want to live on a Disney cruise ship. That is all.
Except dogs aren’t allowed on board, so there’s that. We did, however, take Scout to Florida with us, and my parents flew down to watch her while we were cruising. Kinda feels like they got the raw end of that deal, but they did enjoy a few peaceful, warm and sunny days!
We couldn’t board the ship until 12:30, so we slept in, got Scout all settled into my parent’s room, and checked out the hotel.
The pool was chilly, and these girls were just going to put their feet in. And then it was their knees. And naturally they ended up in their bathing suits.
We dried them off and made our way over to the terminal to board the ship. It was a gorgeous day!
We grabbed some lunch and found our friends,
and got right to sliding
and eating ice cream.
We headed back to our rooms to change before the sailing away party. We were even able spot my parents on a pier as we sailed away!
We checked out the ship and then settled in to watch a show.
We showered and headed down to our first restaurant.
Where we watched another show while we ate.
We sang along, we whipped our napkins over our heads, we ate A LOT of food, we allowed our waiter to cut up our meat, we ate the first of many mickey ice cream bars,
and we laughed hysterically at our waiter’s antics.
After dinner we stumbled upon some characters.
and then finally made our way back to our rooms around 10:30 pm. 😴
