After all the parties, programs, and concerts during the last two weeks, I kinda feel like this right now. It has been a whirlwind of Christmas fun, and we’ve made some pretty hilarious memories.
The adult Christmas party was first, and the theme this year was “dress like your spouse.” Ben and I totally failed in the costume department- I forgot to order a wig and paint his nails, so he really doesn’t look like me. But at least I had the essential Ben accessories: a visor and earpiece.
Costume winners were these two….
the hair, the jeans and boots, the belly, the chicken t-shirt, the facial hair….these were the best costumes ever.
And Carissa stayed in costume the entire time.
For the young adult party, you had to dress like one of your parents. Since I dress like my mom every day, I decided to go with dressing like my dad.
No one could take me seriously with that mustache on.
Claire was Ben, Max was me.
The kids kept trickling in, but we grabbed a partial group shot.
Charlie was a complete wild beast at the box game. We could not stop laughing at him body slamming the box.
We absolutely love these parties, and love these people: there is nothing quite like going to bed after laughing for almost 4 hours straight. ๐โค๏ธ
