I honestly feel like I blinked a few times and this school year was over. Overall, it was a really good year.
Claire loved her freshman year, and went out of her comfort zone on many occasions (also I’m not sure what is with her very forced-looking smile in the “end of year” photo😂).

Max had a few bumps in his first year of middle school, but he ended strong. School is still not his favorite though.

Grace loved absolutely everything about 3rd grade. Her teacher, her friends, her activities….all. the. things.

And I’m in complete denial that Tess is done with kindergarten. But she had a fantastic year, a fantastic teacher, a fantastic group of kids in her class, and fantastic experiences.

But she’s so big. 😭

They only had a half day of school, so we spent the rest of the day right here:

in full relax mode.
That was, of course, after the younger girls were bickering and also some minor injuries occurred. Ahhhh, summer vacation.

But then they found their groove (for a little while anyway) and we had a great afternoon. 💛
Happy summer, McCandless fam! Let the fun begin ❤️
Always so crazy to see the difference in their photos!
