Friday Favorites

Favorite picture:

Favorite kid quote:

Tessa: “Me and my friends always talk in the bathroom. It’s an odd place to talk.”

Favorite clothing item:

I bought Tessa these snow pants because they matched her coat. She has played in the wettest, sloppiest snow and her clothes don’t get wet at all underneath these snow pants. The other kids have all come in with wet bottoms and wet knees, but Tess remains perfectly dry. So when these pants went on sale I bought them for the other kids too. Because no one likes a cold, wet bum.

Favorite food:

I love a quick mug cake on a cold afternoon. This one is so good! (I can’t eat chocolate, so I omitted that part and it was still delicious. That’s saying something.)

Favorite verse:

Favorite moment:

More on this later, but without a doubt my favorite moment this week was hearing Tessa’s doctor say “I’ll be honest with you: Tessa is pretty miraculous. She has done far better than I ever would have imagined given her circumstances. It’s simply amazing.” We agree, Dr. T.
