It’s a new year, I got a new computer that actually uploads my pictures, and it’s finally time to get this blog back on track. We’ll have to recap everything that’s happened in the past 5 months first though. ![]()
This seems like forever ago.
Claire started the day bright and early at the senior sunrise breakfast.
The girls had back-to-school conferences for their first “official” day of school. We swung by 4th grade to say hello to our favorite student teacher, Cole! Grace and Tessa loved seeing him at school every day.
It was an oddly chilly day, so we grabbed lunch, walked around in some stores, and enjoyed their last official day of “freedom”.
The next morning, they were ready for 10th, 5th, and 2nd grades.
And don’t even get me started on this ridiculousness.

Her last first day…I don’t love it. But I love her- and am beyond proud of her. I’m just not ready for her to grow up.

Max had his first football scrimmage of the season. I would like to say that he is catching up to the height of his teammates, but we’re not quite there yet.
One of these days, Max. Keep looking up.😉
After a couple days of school, we had more friends and family come over for our church’s annual Labor Day weekend conference.
There was a lot of tubing, swimming, games, and fun.
And that wraps up August. On to September!
